  1. Sirisha Kothuri, Civil & Environmental Engineering Senior Research Associate, received a $12,108 grant from Utah State University for her research "Consideration of "Recall-Rest-Walk" during Signal Coordination".
  2. Arash Khosravifar, Civil & Environmental Engineering Faculty, received a $29,070 grant from Deep Foundation Institute for his research "Design of Pile Foundations Subjected to Liquefaction-Induced Lateral Spreading".
  3. Diane Moug, Civil & Environmental Engineering Faculty, and Arash Khosravifar, Civil & Environmental Engineering Faculty, received a $29,962 grant from Deep Foundations Institute for their research "Advancing Microbially Induced Desaturation (MID) towards Implementation as a Ground Improvement Method".
  4. James Pankow, Civil & Environmental Engineering Faculty, received a $50,000 grant from University of California- San Diego for his research "Optimization of Aqueous Analytical Methods for Hydrogen Sulfide and Other Sewage-Related Contaminants in the Tijuana River using Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry and Other Advanced Methods".
