Celebrate Our Class of 2019!

What Should I Expect at the Commencement Ceremonies?

At the PSU Commencement ceremonies, degrees are conferred and all candidates are called by name, walk the stage, shake hands with college administration, and have their photo taken. Graduates wear their regalia at this event and will receive a diploma cover at the ceremony (diplomas are mailed to students).

Graduates can invite family and friends. Graduates and their guests are expected to remain for the duration of the ceremony, please plan accordingly and cushion for additional time pre and post-ceremony.

Detailed Ceremony Information

Graduating students must participate in the ceremony date and time assigned based on their school/college. Not sure what school/college your major belongs to?

Students who have more than one major will need to choose which major they will want to walk with for commencement purposes. Students can only participate in one university commencement ceremony but are welcomed to attend other graduation celebration and events as desired.
