The Center for Women’s Leadership at Portland State University and INTERSECT in partnership with Emily Evans Consulting Practice, Meyer Memorial Trust, Pride NW and the Marie Equi Institute collaborated on creating The Gender Justice Navigator.
Funders, policymakers, organizers, and the broader community to engaged with us on the launch of this first-of-its-kind effort to network and database gender justice-serving organizations and their work across our region.
The Purpose of the Navigator is to highlight and connect gender justice leaders and organizations like yours.
Why this tool matters: A public, free, searchable database of the gender-focused organizations and programs in our region will support:
- Connecting funders with potential grantee partners
- Connecting organizations to peers across the state
- Connecting potential future staff, board members, and volunteers to values-aligned organizations
- Supporting faster, more expansive coalition building
- Facilitating better/more accurate media coverage of gender-related topics
- Enabling field-organizing, building, and convening efforts
We are eager to be in relationship with you, to learn more about your work, and to build this new collaborative in ways that center your organization’s contributions and needs.
