  1. Alida Cantor, geography faculty, made a media appearance on Legal Planet to discuss the article, “Do Regulators and Utility Managers Have Irreconcilable Differences or Mutual Goals?” on March 29.
  2. Mitch Cruzan, biology faculty, was interviewed in the article “Scientists Want Virtual Meetings to Stay After the COVID Pandemic” in Nature.
  3. Lauren Frank, communication faculty, co-edited “Entertainment-Education Behind the Scenes: Case Studies for Theory and Practice,” an open access book on promoting social change through media, published by Palgrave Macmillan.
  4. Cynthia Carmina Gómez, Cultural Resource Centers executive director, joined the Portland Audubon Board of Directors, where she also serves as education committee chair.
  5. Priya Kapoor, international and global studies faculty, was interviewed by KOIN 6 news on the recent spate of Asian Hate crimes and the new House Bill known as the COVID-19 Hate Crime Bill on March 20.
  6. Ed Skoog, English, was selected as a finalist for the Oregon Book Award in Poetry.
