About the Resilience Internship Program

In partnership with PSU's Institute for Sustainable Solutions (ISS), College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science, the LSAMP-ISS Resilience Internship program links minoritized PSU students with paid internships focused on climate resilience, water resources, and disaster preparedness each academic year. The program supports students who identify as members of of racially underrepresented groups in STEM (African American/Black, Alaska Native, Native American, Latino/Latine, Native Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander).

The aim of this program is to provide LSAMP students interested in resilience with opportunities for professional development and skill growth that advances their post-graduation goals. For more information on the program's impact, see: "The LSAMP-ISS Intership: PSU students work on real world issues."
