UNST Council

The University Studies Council makes policy recommendations related to University Studies, coordinates the review of new UNST course recommendations, and may conduct reviews or assessments of the UNST program. The UNST Council is a constitutional committee, whose standing members represent the University. The Committee on Committees appoints its members. For the council's official charge and composition, please visit the Faculty Senate page or see the PSU Faculty Constitution, Article IV, Section 4.4 (l) in the Faculty Governance Guide.

The University Studies Council reports its annual activities to Faculty Senate each May.

The council also coordinates the UNST Excellence in Teaching Awards which recognize faculty who inspire students to actively engage with their courses and community, while building meaningful relationships.
