What Sets Us Apart

We are proud to be recognized as one of the nation’s top speech-language pathology programs by U.S. News & World Report. Our students form a close community with active student groups and events. Our faculty leads research and clinical services in areas such as swallowing, stuttering, autism and language disorders.

Clinical services

We provide a full range of speech-language pathology services for children and adults at our on-campus clinic, at no cost to our clients. We also partner with hospitals, school districts, skilled nursing facilities and private practices in community-based clinical settings.

Our partnerships

Our location in downtown Portland and tradition of strong community partnerships gives our students easy access to hands-on clinical experience. Our partners include OHSU, Legacy Health, Portland Public Schools and dozens of other school districts, hospital systems and private clinics.
