Admission Information and Applications

Application to a graduate program at PSU is a two-step process. You must submit two separate applications: one to the Office of Admissions, and the other directly to the department. Click for instructions and a link to the online Office of Admissions application, as well as instructions for departmental applications.

These applications (above) are seven page PDF files that have general instructions on the first and second pages, a generic departmental application on the third page (check with the department to which you are applying to see if they require a specific departmental application), and the Office of Admissions graduate admission application on the fifth and sixth pages.

 

 Change of Admission Term

Graduate students, with the support of the department, can defer their term of admission up to four terms for programs that admit once per year (e.g. Fall 2014 to Fall 2015) or up to three terms for programs that admit every term (e.g. Fall 2014 to Summer 2015).
