Student Health and Counseling is located in the University Center building. SHAC provides high quality, accessible mental health, physical health, dental services, and testing services targeted to the needs of the PSU student population. 12,500 SQ FT on the 2nd and 3rd floors was remodeled to add a central waiting area to serve the expanded dental clinic, health center administration and a new health promotions program. The new space greets students when they enter the third floor, making the location of the dental and other health services obvious. The remodel also improved the health center’s testing services department with additional space and combined their split locations into one space. The relocation and expansion of the SHAC administrative offices from the 2nd to the 3rd floor will enable SHAC to increase the clinical staff for the expanding PSU student body.
