Tom brings over 5+ years of experience working with various non-profits & communities in the design, planning, and DEI in the Pacific Northwest and has a good working knowledge of institutions. Tom is a LEED Green Associate, Eco-Districts accredited professional, and an active member of the American Planning Association. Tom holds a BS in Urban planning with a minor in architecture, geography, and Real estate development from Portland State University and began working with CPC as an Architecture+Planning Assistant.
Tom has worked on Fourth and Montgomery/Vanport Building project where he provided his expertise in stakeholder management to define scope and support the design process, interfacing with vendors, and contractors before, during, and after construction begins, assisting project management with change orders and change of direction as they occur, attending steering committee meetings and other stakeholder communications, and coordinating move-in and closeout processes as needed.
