Dr. Ali Esteghlalian joined the School of Business at Portland State University in 2021 as an Adjunct Professor. He holds a PHD in Bioengineering from Oregon State University (Corvallis, Oregon) and an MBA from the Rady School of Management at the University of California in San Diego, CA. Prior to his current engagement as a professional educator, Dr. Esteghlalian worked for 20 years in the field of industrial biotechnology in academia in the US and Canada, and in both technical and business leadership roles at major biotechnology firms in the US and Europe. His professional interests include business research and analysis, holistic leadership, entrepreneurship, technical marketing and organizational behavior.
