A new study published in PLOS Biology Journal lists Portland State researchers among the top in the world.

Thirty-five Portland State researchers are among the world's most-cited and the top researchers within their discipline areas, according to a study recently published in PLOS Biology Journal.

The study, led by John P.A. Ioannidis of Stanford University, ranked researchers based on an aggregation of standardized citation metrics from data from 2019. The study looked at more than 6 million researchers in 22 disciplines and 176 subdisciplines.

"The recognition of so many commendable PSU researchers highlights the impact our faculty have on their respective fields," said Jason Podrabsky, Interim Vice President of Research & Graduate Studies at PSU.
