NEW CLASS! Introduction to Pacific Islander Studies - PIAA 301 CRN 14791

This course critically examines the lived (historical) and living (present-day) experiences of Pacific Islander people in Oceania and the Continental US. Through an interdisciplinary approach, it will explore the resistance, resilience, and ongoing struggles of Pacific Islander communities.

The overarching areas evident in the school's name feature the rich constellation of interlocking and challenging factors key to understanding our society and making changes for a more socially just future
