Kevin Neely

Kevin joined Portland State University in December 2017.   He is a Viking, having graduated in 1996 with a BS in Biology.  Over the last decade, he was president and co-owner of C&E Systems, a small business specializing in political campaign compliance, government relations and software development.  Prior to that he served as the spokesman and lead lobbyist for the Oregon Department of Justice.  Kevin’s higher education experience includes several years as Executive Assistant to the President at Willamette University.

Alyson joined Portland State in January 2013. She is a graduate of Oregon State University Honors College, where she received a BS in Psychology. Since graduating she has received a certificate in Strategic Communication from Portland State. Her career in Oregon politics began in 2007 when she interned for Dave Hunt at the state level while attending Oregon State University.  After the 2007 Legislative session, Alyson spent six additional years working with Dave Hunt and the House Democrats before joining PSU. Alyson is a Portland native. She and her husband, Max, have two young sons, Elliot and Theodore who keep them both busy. They enjoy spending time together as a family and are excited to watch their sons learn and grow.

        

Lilliana Luna-Olalde

Liliana Luna identifies as a Mujer Mexicana and a Community Activist with a passion for immigrant rights, social justice, and education equity. Lili is a DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) recipient and a 3rd-year graduate student in Counseling Education at Portland State University. Before her graduate assistantship in the Office of Government Relations and Office of General Counsel, Liliana served as the Retention and Coordinator of the Multicultural Center at Rock Creek Campus, Portland Community College (PCC) where she co-lead the Diversity Council. Her most recent accomplishment is opening the DREAMers Resource Center at PCC Rock Creek, the first center of its kind in Oregon, which provides resources and support for undocumented and DACA students and their families. Liliana's work at PSU focuses on state and federal legislation. In her role with the Office of General Counsel, she focuses on supporting the implementation of policies using an equitable lense.
 

Lydia Ness

Lydia is a first year Master in Urban and Regional Planning student at PSU. At the Office of Government Relations, the graduate assistant position allows her to work at the local, county, regional and state government levels. She is specifically tracking policy at the City of Portland, Multnomah County and Metro.
