A Message from Interim Executive Director Jessica Mole
It’s with great enthusiasm that I accept the role as Interim Executive Director for The Center for Women’s Leadership.
I’m here today because of the women whose shoulders I stand on. As a second-generation small-town Oregonian, first-generation college graduate, and first woman in my family to have a career I’m passionately committed to partnering with the CWL Board, Alumnae, and Advocates to build leadership capacity for women across Oregon’s 36 counties.
I envision a future where Oregon’s women have equal representation in leadership positions and lead confidently in their chosen fields. I believe in a future where Oregon’s Black, indigenous, and Women of Color are valued, celebrated, and supported. I believe in a future where Oregon’s women are coached, mentored, and trained for leadership pathways. By collaborating across sectors, urban-rural divides, and partnering practitioners and academics I believe that it will be possible to build equitable leadership to solve our state’s and world’s complex problems.
Let’s get to work on strengthening our legacy programs and building the go to place for Oregon women to receive leadership development throughout their career.
