Participate in the Many LSAMP Activities...


Welcome to The Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP), at Portland State University. LSAMP is dedicated to enhancing the undergraduate education experience for underrepresented students in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields of study.

This unique five year grant, funded through the National Science Foundation, is focused on the following:

  • Creating a community among LSAMP scholars that values excellence, diversity, and persistence
  • Expanding opportunities for LSAMP scholars through participation in undergraduate research experiences and leadership initiatives
  • Developing a comprehensive strategy for success that supports LSAMP scholars

Location Information

The Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Center is located on the PSU Campus at 1136 SW Montgomery St., in Stephen Epler Hall, Room 103. Enter from the first floor lobby on the east side of the building.
