Online Curriculum Management System (OCMS)

All curriculum proposals, including new programs and courses, changes to existing programs and courses and drop programs and courses, must be submitted through the Online Curriculum Management System (OCMS). For any questions, contact Kris Fedor.

IMPORTANT: All proposals for new programs (minors, certificates, BA/BS, MA/MS, PhD), must first go through the CLAS New Programs process prior to being submitted in the OCMS. 

• If your department plans to submit a new Graduate degree (MA/MS/PhD) proposal, you must first follow the CLAS Guidelines for New Graduate Programs. 
   
• If your department plans to submit a new Certificate (undergrad and grad) or Undergraduate degree (minor, BA/BS) proposal, you must first follow the CLAS Guidelines for New Certificates and Undergraduate Programs. 

Important CLAS Curriculum Deadlines

October 13, 2023: Deadline for OCMS proposals for new degree programs (Bachelor, Master's, Doctoral) to be included in next academic year's PSU Bulletin. Also the deadline for OCMS course proposals (new courses, changes to existing courses) that you want active in Banner when the Schedule for Fall is posted this coming May.

January 12, 2024: Deadline for OCMS proposals changes to existing programs, course changes, new courses, new certificates, and new minors to be included in the next academic year's PSU Bulletin. NOTE: these proposals may not be through all approvals by the time the Fall term Schedule is posted this coming May.

January 15, 2024: Deadline to submit to CLAS materials for proposed new graduate programs.

April 7, 2024: Deadline to submit OCMS proposals for the spring term meeting. Proposals received during this cycle will be reviewed by CLAS but, if approved, will not be reviewed by the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee or Graduate Council until the following fall.

April 1, 2024: Deadline to submit to CLAS materials for proposed new certificates and undergraduate programs.
