Winter 2017: INTL 399 Youth in Africa
This hybrid course offers an introductory look at youth in Africa as a socially-meaningful category of modern experience through the themes of education, globalization, economic instability, gender and power. Social science readings will be complemented by African films and novels.
The Department of International and Global Studies at Portland State University enhances global awareness and provides opportunities for both academic enrichment and personal growth.
