IELP Admitted Student Checklist

If you have not done it already, please submit your MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccination documentation. We need to know the exact dates that you received the MMR vaccination. Please find the form here. Complete the form and email it back to ielpadm@pdx.edu.

To activate your Odin computer account, you must go through a one-time Odin Account Manager (OAM) set-up process.

If you have not done it already, please follow the steps at https://oam.pdx.edu/AccountPickup/ to complete the Odin computer account activation process.

You will need your PSU identification number, birth date, and activation/security code to complete the Odin computer account activation process.  

Your activation/security code will be sent to you in a message from registrar@pdx.edu titled: Your OAM Instructions.

We need to determine your level of English. Your first step is to take the online IELP placement test.

We will send you a test voucher and directions for how to take the test online.

On-Campus Housing

If you want to live on-campus then you must apply online. Please follow the instructions on the PSU Online Housing Portal to apply for on-campus university housing: housingportal.pdx.edu

Please email questions to: housing@pdx.edu.
 
On campus housing fills up FAST so please complete this application AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you plan on living on campus.

New IELP Student Orientation is an important part of your IELP experience, and it is mandatory for all new IELP and Pathway students. New Student Orientation will provide you with details about IELP classes, campus life, and student services.

New IELP Student Orientation consists of two in-person and/or virtual orientation sessions.

To register for the orientation, complete the new student registration form.

Once you’ve set up your student account, your PSU email address will be activated. You will continue to receive email correspondence about your next steps and opportunities through the email address you used to apply. However, you should check your PSU account regularly for current student communications.

You can get your new student ID card in-person once you are registered for the upcoming term courses. No appointment needed. ID services is located in Fariborz Maseeh Hall (FMH) Student Services Lounge and is open Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm.
