Spring people
  1. Bright Alozie, Black Studies faculty, won the 2023-2024 Charlton Oral History Grant/Baylor University Visiting Scholar Award for his ongoing oral history project titled, “Immigrant Voices Matter: African Immigrants in Oregon Oral History Project.”
  2. Lynell Spencer, Advising and Career Services pathway advising director, has been selected to receive the Mary H. Cumpston Award for Service to Students for championing student success in numerous ways, including the development of the Early Alerts initiative.
  3. Ashley Streig, Geology faculty, gave an interview with the American Geophysical Union's Eos magazine for the article, “Accounting for Offbeat Earthquakes Can Improve Forecasts.”
