Preview Day

Preview Day is an all-day event for prospective freshmen and their families. Held on a select Saturday every Fall, Preview Day is our only weekend visit program. Take the day to immerse yourself in the academic curriculum, explore our diverse urban campus, and discover the many connections that Portland State fosters within the greater metropolitan community. Bridges

Bridges is Portland State's annual open house for high school students who are first generation or from ethnically diverse backgrounds who are exploring college opportunities. You'll become familiar with the process of applying for admission to Portland State, and also engage in discussions about attending college and completing a degree program. Learn more about Bridges

Personal and Group Visits

Arrange a tour of campus with a current PSU student, an opportunity to learn about the Portland State admissions process, and a preview of campus housing options. Guided tours and Information Sessions are offered only on the weekdays.

Viking Visitation

On select days in February, March, and May we host Viking Visitation, half-day program for advisers, counselors, prospective freshmen and transfer students. You'll participate in a series of informational sessions and activities, and learn how to apply for admission. Learn more about Viking Visitation

Viking 101

Viking 101 is a half-day event that introduces middle school students to the importance of a college education through a series of activities. This event is the only visit opportunity for middle school students at this time. Learn more about Viking 101

Student for a Day

Student for a Day is an interactive, hands-on program designed for high school juniors and seniors to get a close look at the daily life of a current Portland State University student. Learn more about Student for a Day

Self-Guided Tour Packets
