Sara Weith comes to the world of leadership from a very unconventional background. She graduated from Northern Illinois University with her BSN, and the majority of her career has been spent in emergency medicine and currently in surgical oncology as a nurse. She has over 16 years of experience in change management and project leadership across her many roles in both medicine and consulting. For ASW, she is a subject matter expert on Change Management, often presenting and holding roundtable discussions on related topics. Our typical project involves many people and many moving parts - project management is CRITICAL!
Sara also shares her expertise back in the medical field - in 2020-2021 she was the Lead Nurse Navigator for the mass vaccination clinic at the Oregon Convention Center. She has also volunteered at the startup Portland Street Medicine, acting in an integral role to grow PSM where it is today. By combining these two areas of her career Sara has learned that Change Management and Project Leadership are both vital to long-term growth and progress for businesses.
