Jen Birk is a Senior Change Manager at The Standard, and she's passionate about helping people. She earned an MA in Conflict Resolution at Portland State University and is currently earning an MS in Organizational Change Leadership from the University of Wisconsin. Jen began her career at IBM in project management and quickly realized that working with people, and helping them through change, was where she should focus. In pursuit of a more personal work environment, Jen transitioned to consulting with a local firm, where she spent the next five years. Jen gained a wealth of experience in numerous industries, while also supporting her firm with Learning & Development and Community Service initiatives.
Jen is also passionate about nonprofit work and spent six years providing pro bono organization development consulting to small, local nonprofits through the Community Consulting Project. She is also actively involved in DEI efforts at her company.
