Cory Lira has been working in higher education and secondary education for over 15 years. She is currently the interim Director of the Women's Resource Center at Portland State University. She has years of experience with training and instructional design and loves facilitation and education work that supports organizational transformation and growth. As a DEI consultant and facilitator, Cory has trained locally and nationally.
Cory has her M.Ed from the University of Oregon, with an emphasis on culturally relevant pedagogy. She also has a background in community organizing with a focus on anti-disposability politics such as disability justice and transformative justice. Cory spends her free time cooking, playing with her niblings, gardening, making pottery, and writing.
