  1. Chris Cartwright, International and Global Studies, presented “Developing Global Competence and Employability” on Oct. 14 at the virtual American Association of Colleges & Universities Conference on Global Learning.  
  2. Chris Cartwright, International and Global Studies, presented “Leveraging Connective Leadership Skills to Drive Multi-Stakeholder Engagement in Service of DEI and Belonging” Oct. 15 at the International Leadership Association Global Conference in Washington, D.C.
  3. Chris Cartwright, International and Global Studies, presented “Ways to Link, Develop, and Measure Global Learning and Inclusion” on Oct. 11 at the virtual American Association of Colleges & Universities Conference on Global Learning.  
  4. Karen Curtin, Japanese faculty, presented at the Confederation in Oregon for Language Teaching Conference on Oct. 14th. 
  5. Ramin Farahmandpur, Educational Leadership and Policy, presented “Socio-Ecological Crisis and the Political Economy of Sustainability” at the International Initiative for Promoting Political Economy in September at the University of Bologna in Italy.
  6. Maurice Hamington, Philosophy faculty and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies affiliate faculty, led a series of seminars on the topic of revolutionary care in France during the month of October as part of his work as a Fulbright Specialist.
  7. Kathy Harris and Gloria Jacobs, Applied Linguistics faculty, co-presented “Unpacking Employer Supported Education & Learner Experiences” from Oct. 3-5 at the ProLiteracy Conference in San Antonio. 
  8. Laurence Kominz, World Languages and Literatures faculty emeritus, translated a script and coached a team for a kabuki show in Tokyo. 
  9. Dilafruz Williams, Leadership for Sustainability Education faculty emerita, served on a panel for a webinar hosted by KidsGardening titled, “Principles and Practices of Garden Education: Serving Latina/o/x Students and Communities” in October during Hispanic Heritage Month.
