  1. Jola Ajibade, Geography faculty, gave a talk “Shifting Landscapes of Spatial Equity and Justice: Who is Vulnerable or Resilient to Cascading and Consecutive Hazards in the Portland Metro Region” on April 4 at the Urban Ecology & Conservation Symposium. 
  2. Jola Ajibade, Geography faculty, gave a talk “Float or Retreat? The Justice Conundrum in Coastal Adaptation” at the Climate and Clean Energy Series organized by Schatz Energy Research Center, Cal Poly Humboldt, on April 6.
  3. Chris Cartwright, International and Global Studies faculty, co presented “Assessment for & as Equity: New Paradigms for Old Conundrums” at The Forum for Study Abroad annual conference March 24 in Seattle. 
  4. Kai Hang Cheang, Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies faculty, presented “Lesson I Learned from Archiving Yuli Riswati's Hong Kong Writings” for the panel “Rethinking Hidden Histories of Migration in Global Asias: Counterpublics of Resistance” at the Association for Asian American Studies Annual Conference on April 7 in Long Beach, California.
  5. Christina Cress, Education faculty; co-presented “Centering Community Engagement in Equity and Excellence” for the NW5 Community Engagement Faculty Consortium.
  6. Jon Holt, World Languages and Literatures faculty, and Teppei Fukuda M.A. ‘20 published a translation in The Comics Journal titled, “The Ruins of Space Battleship Yamato: An Essay on Matsumoto Leiji and War” by manga scholar Natsume Fusanosuke.
  7. Jungmin Kwon, Film Faculty, gave a talk, “K(Q)ueer-Pop: Queer Practices in K-Pop, Commodification, and Queer Audiences,” on March 31 at Simon Fraser University.
  8. Carlos Mena, Business faculty, presented “Supply Chain Structure and Resilience: Implications from the U.S. Apparel Supply Chain During the COVID-19 Pandemic” on March 28 at Cranfield University in Cranfield, England.
