Are you interested in a career that promotes and demonstrates democratic values and is active in leading the nation on foreign policy issues? Come learn more about the U.S. Department of State and how they help lead America's foreign policy through diplomacy and advocacy. 

The U.S. Department of State has established a new Diplomat in Residence in Seattle to cover Oregon, as well as Alaska and Washington. Dara Yin, a PSU Alumni and former Beaverton resident, is the new Diplomat in Residence and is looking forward to connecting with PSU students who are interested in representing America. Dara has been a Foreign Service Officer in the political track for 20 years, has lived in five different countries, and has traveled the world for tourism and work.
