On Campus Operations
The Department of Chemistry office (SRTC 262) is physically open 9:00am - 3:00pm daily, Monday-Friday (Monday-Thursday in Summer). The Chemistry Stockroom (SRTC 280) is receiving mail and packages and supporting the teaching labs. Information about our weekly seminar series is found on our website. The Chemistry Departmental tutor room space is open in the 2nd floor of the library in the tutor room; we also have tutor room hours that can be attended remotely.
The Robertson Life Science Building and Science Research and Teaching Center are badge access only.
Department staff personnel continue to check service email accounts:
- chemistry@pdx.edu: general and administrative inquiries, registration (including By Arrangement forms for research and thesis/dissertation credits), and access requests
- chemstrm@pdx.edu: stockroom inquiries
- chorders@pdx.edu: order confirmations and charging instructions
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences has a virtual front desk that is open 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. If you need immediate assistance and can't reach someone in Chemistry, they can likely point you in the right direction.
