  2. Tom Dietrich, Applied Linguistics faculty emeritus, wrote a letter to the editor in the Oregonian titled, “Reading Research Goes Back Decades.”
  3. David Gerbing, Business faculty, published the second edition of his book “R Data Analysis Without Programming.”
  4. Kai Hang Cheang, women, gender, and sexuality studies faculty, authored a book review of Minor China: Method, Materialisms, and the Aesthetic by Hentyle Yapp for the Journal of Asian American Studies. 
  5. Brandon Reich, Business faculty, published “You Ought to Know: Why Consumers Think Companies Can Foresee Bad (But Not Good) Side Effects” in Psychology & Marketing. 
  6. Kali Simmons, Indigenous Nations Studies faculty, wrote, “We Are Our Mother’s Children” in the Canadian magazine GUTS. 
  7. Jeremy Spoon, Anthropology faculty, was lead author in a new open access publication in Ecology and Society titled, “Contextualizing Patterns in Short-Term Disaster Recoveries from the 2015 Nepal Earthquakes: Household Vulnerabilities, Adaptive Capacities, and Change.” 
  8. J.J.P. Veerman, Mathematics and Statistics faculty, wrote “High-Density Optical Interconnects Based on Self-Imaging in Coupled Waveguide Arrays" in the journal Optics and Laser Technology.
