  1. Alissa Hartig, Applied Linguistics faculty, co-presented an interest session titled “Data-Driven Learning for the Hawaiian Language Revitalization Classroom” on Mar. 2 at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, at the 2024 Southwest Conference on Language Teaching in Honolulu.
  2. Ryan Petteway, Public Health and Black Studies faculty, gave an invited talk titled “Towards a Public Health of ‘Radical Possibility’: On Power, Epistemology, and Creative Resistance for Health Justice” on Feb. 16 for the East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine.
  3. Ryan Petteway, Public Health and Black Studies faculty, presented a webinar titled, “‘And We’ve Given Them Time’ // ‘How Much Time Do You Need?’ On Fannie, Baldwin, and the White Logics of the Health Equity (Time) Machine” on Feb. 20  for the University of Washington School of Nursing and the Center for Antiracism and Community Health.

Ryan Petteway, Public Health and Black Studies faculty, gave an invited talk titled “Toward an Antiracist Public Health of ‘Radical Possibility’: On Power, Epistemology, and Creative Resistance for Health Justice” on Feb. 21 for the University of Minnesota School of Public Health Justice in Public Health Speaker Series.
