I am Alisa Rai living in the mountainous country Nepal. I have completed my Master’s degree in Environmental Science in 2015 from Tribhuwan University Nepal. I always prefer to work for inaccessible, highly vulnerable mountain areas with indigenous and marginalized mountain communities. I have worked on livelihood and conservation related projects in the remote mountains of Nepal for about five years in the organization named the Mountain Institute. Currently I am working as Kathmandu based Senior Research Coordinator under the Nepal Critical Transition Project Phase II (2020-2025) funded by National Science Foundation under the leadership of Dr. Jeremy Spoon. The first phase (2016-2018) of this research work was also co-lead by me.
