Through a series of campus events in April, we honor and acknowledge the issues of sexual violence that challenge our health, our well-being, and our ability to thrive while at the same time honoring our resilience, strength, and healing processes. We raise money for our survivor emergency housing fund, we celebrate ourselves, and we resist the systems that perpetuate rape culture.
What You'll Find at the WRC
The Interpersonal Violence Program at the WRC works to promote healthy relationships in the campus community and to improve PSU's coordinated campus response to, and prevention of, sexual and relationship violence.
There are many ways students can get involved with the WRC. From Action Teams, volunteering at our front desk, practicum projects, event planning, and more!
Non-traditional students often experience additional barriers and obstacles when returning to college and completing their degree. The Empowerment Program provides resources, skills, information, and support to get past these challenges.
The WRC hosts many events throughout the year. In November we have Social Sustainability Month and in April there is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
For more information about the WRC and its programs please Contact the WRC Staff. If you are experiencing a crisis please call the Campus Public Safety Office at 503-725-4404.
