Gain Valuable Leadership Skills with the WRC!
There are so many ways to develop collaborative leadership skills at the Women's Resource Center - our volunteers have gained resume-building knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as developed life-long friendships and community. Our Leadership Cohort consists of front desk volunteers, Action Team leaders/members, and interns filling a variety of roles and taking the lead on all kinds of creative projects.
Our Leadership Cohort will kick off the 2016-17 Academic Year with a weeklong retreat and training from September 12 - September 16 right here at the WRC. During this week you will:
- Learn more about the WRC and the many resources here on PSU's campus
- Explore social justice issues that makeup the foundation of our work in intersectional feminism
- Get to know your fellow cohort members and do some teambuilding
- Explore your own identity and gain a better understanding of your relationship to feminism and social justice
If you would like to join our 2016-17 Leadership Cohort or volunteer with the Women's Resource Center in any capacity, please fill out our application form by clicking this link.
