World Languages Courses

Non Language-Specific Courses

World Languages and Literatures (WLL) Prefix Departmental Courses, those that carry an WLL designation, are departmental courses that are one of the following:

a) A regular course taught in English, with no language prerequisites;

b) An occasional offering with variable title and content, taught in English;

c) A second language for which a regular catalog number is not available.

Although WLL-prefix courses count toward a second language major or minor, restrictions do apply. Consult your advisor for details. If they are language courses, they may also fulfill BA, International Studies, or MA language requirements. Refer to the WLL Department and your academic advisor for more information.
