Interdisciplinary Connections: A Teaching Innovation Mini-Conference
Saturday, January 25, 2020 - 11:00am to Saturday, January 25, 2020 - 4:15pm

What do physics and sociology have in common? How does mental health relate to STEM courses? What can writers and engineers learn from each other? The Winter Teaching Innovation Mini-Conference will explore the power and possibilities of interdisciplinary connections in the classroom and how these connections help students better relate to what they're learning and transfer new knowledge to the world outside of academia.  Graduate students, adjuncts, early career faculty and others at PSU who are interested in best practices in teaching and learning are welcome.

Main event space: SMSU 327/8/9
Breakout sessions: SMSU 294, 296, 298, 333
