Tricol Biomedical Inc. Vice President of Business Operations, Brian Clare, will present Building a Better Bandage - Tricol Biomedical and Innovation in Hemostatsis at the Department of Chemistry's weekly seminar series 

About Dr. Brian Clare

Brian H. Clare (Vice President of Business Operations) is responsible for Operations and New Product Introduction at Tricol Biomedical – a medical device company headquartered in downtown Portland, Oregon.  He leads an interdisciplinary team of product development scientists, device engineers and supply chain professionals.  Brian has more than 15 years of experience across a diverse range of industries, including Medical Device and Diagnostics, Clean Energy and Specialty Polymers.  Dr. Clare started his career at Rohm and Haas Company and is a co-inventor on 5 issued US patents, a co-author on 8 peer-reviewed publications in the areas of chemistry, polymers and biomaterials, and has served as Principal Investigator on federally-funded research grants.  He holds a BS in Chemistry from Penn State University and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
