Current Projects

Aliza is currently working on a pilot project with Dr. Paula Carder, using a mobile method of interviewing, called go-along, where interviews about getting food are conducted while getting food. Some participants shop for food, others get food at a meal service downtown, and others go to food pantries. The interviews will help better understand the barriers older people with low incomes who live downtown face while getting food as well as determine if this method is successful with older adults.
