Portland State University planners will offer their recommendations for the Oak Grove Boulevard business district at a Wednesday open house.
The open house is set for 7 to 9 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Rose Villa, 13505 S.E. River Road.
The Oak Lodge Community Council hopes to hear neighborhood concerns over the planned light-rail station at Park Avenue and connections between the Trolley Trail and McLoughlin Boulevard.
The planners' recommendations will be considered by the Oak Lodge Community Council for inclusion in the final Oak Grove Neighborhood Center Plan, which will guide development in the area from Park Avenue to Oak Grove Boulevard.
The recommendations were developed by Foothill Planning Associates, a group of PSU graduate students in the master of urban and regional planning program, who worked at the request of the Oak Lodge Community Council and Clackamas County Urban Green.
