Lisa K. Bates, Urban Studies and Planning faculty, and alumna Sharita Towne, also known as the Black Life Experiential Research Group (BLERG), are presenting their research-based art and activism at HERE || Humboldt, an exhibition of their work from a year as artists-in-residence for the Humboldt neighborhood. HERE || Humboldt is presented by Paragon Arts Gallery at Portland Community College Cascade and the exhibition runs April 4–25. The opening reception is April 13.
