Óscar Fernández, University Studies faculty, received a grant of $3,500 to help fund a University Studies Race and Social Justice Dialogue Series with Collaborative In-Class Diversity, Equity, and Social Justice (DESJ) Learning Modules for and by Freshmen Inquiry Students. The award, from Bringing Theory to Practice, was part of a Campus Dialogue Grant program that requested proposals on Realizing Higher Education's Greater Purposes. It was awarded on Jan. 19.
