TechfestNW Lineup & Ticket Sales

TechfestNW, a global tech conference taking place at Portland State’s new Viking Pavilion, has announced its speaker lineup and tickets are now on sale for the event April 5-6, 2018.

There are 100 $25 tickets available exclusively to PSU students using promo code PSUKICKOFF. These early bird tickets are available until Friday, February 16 or until sold out.

Students from any institution and PSU faculty, staff and alumni are eligible for $99 tickets with the following promo codes:

  • Students from any institution: LEARN99
  • PSU Faculty: PSUFACULTY
  • PSU Staff: PSUSTAFF
  • PSU Alumni: PSUALUMNI

Valid PSU ID or proof of PSU Alumni Association affiliation is required upon entrance for all PSU students, faculty, staff and alumni who purchase tickets using these codes.

An impressive speaker lineup will bring insight and perspective to one of four themes: Health Tech, Smart Cities/Smart Transit, Food Tech and Inclusivity in Tech Culture.

PSU President Rhamat Shoureshi is delivering the event’s opening keynote address. An active researcher, Shoureshi earned advanced degrees in mechanical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and holds nine U.S. patents for biomedical and engineering systems, sensors and devices.

TechfestNW is an annual gathering of innovators, startups, entrepreneurs, tech companies and investors. During the day, TechfestNW offers compelling speakers, a pitch competition with startups from all over the globe, workshops and a demo floor featuring the latest in tech gadgets. At night, attendees will enjoy parties, networking and an opportunity to explore one of the greatest cities in the country.

TechfestNW and PSU have a three-year agreement to host the event at the Viking Pavilion. Take a virtual hard hat tour of the venue, slated to open on April 2.
