At 7:30pm on Monday, January 14th, Portland State Film Associate Professor Dustin Morrow will speak at Powells Books in downtown Portland. As part of a talk about the actor-director relationship, he will discuss his new book "Kathleen Turner on Acting: Conversations about Film, Television and Theater", written in collaboration with the iconic actress.  Prof. Morrow will detail how he works with actors and how great actors approach the many challenges of film acting. The talk will be of interest to students, actors, filmmakers, and anyone interested in the arts. And of course, fans of Kathleen should enjoy the talk as well, as Prof. Morrow will screen clips from her many films to illustrate aspects of his lecture. The presentation is free and open to the public.
