In light of concerns regarding COVID-19 and in accordance with the university's recommendations to limit in-person gatherings, we are regretfully canceling this event. The health and safety of our community is important to us, and we appreciate your understanding and support. 

Bossa PDX performs a free concert for PSU Jazz students and the general public.

Led by pianist Kerry Politzer, Bossa PDX is a Portland-based band that plays lovingly transcribed arrangements of Gilberto Gil, Roberto Menescal, Marcos Valle, Caetano Veloso, Chico Buarque, João Donato, and Tom Jobim compositions, among others. They also play a selection of upbeat Brazilian jazz tunes. Their instrumentation includes vocals, piano, sax or flute, guitar, bass, and percussion.
