50 Works and Beyond is the result of a term-long exercise in generating new ideas, new concepts, and new ways of working; to help the student break out of their comfort zones and be less reverent or reserved about what or how they paint.

For the 50 Works students, Lauren Blankenship, Kory Linne, Alyssa Looney, and Zoe Naimo, their primary prompt was to make 50 paintings in a 10 week term. While doing so, their objective was to observe their own process, to search, discover, and reflect on these new images and ideas while technically exploring and experimenting with paint through an iterative process.

Jordan Clark, Samantha Hinzman, Noah Leen, Jake Manning, and Hector Ornelas had already completed 50 Works and spent this term focused on their own visual research and content generation to produce a small body of work.
