About the Event

Professor Robert Asaadi will present the cultural and historical aspects of Iranian new wave cinema. The lecture will feature clips from certain films, such as A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night and Taste of Cherry

Iranian Culture Boxes will be provided by WorldOregon. Culture Boxes are a part of World Oregon's Global and Multicultural Resource Center which houses an extensive 30-year collection representing over 100 countries. Culture Boxes are filled with hands-on authentic realia and lessons on art, culture and daily life of people from almost every continent.
