Moving out? Donate unwanted stuff to Chuck it for Charity

Students leaving Portland State University at the end of spring term can donate their unwanted furniture, appliances, non-perishable food, and clothing to local charities and the campus community through the annual Chuck it for Charity drive, being held Thursday, June 8 to Saturday, June 17. 

Meal in a Mug: Free Mugs & Food!

The Committee on Improving Student Food Security and the PSU Student Food Pantry are giving away FREE mugs stuffed with the quick and delicious ingredients for a one mug-meal; a collection of mug-meal recipes perfect for those on a limited budget or limited time; and a FREE container of Pacific Foods soup (while supplies last).

Student Media Advertising's National Awards

The advertising staff of Student Media was recently honored with five national awards at the 44th annual College Media Business & Advertising Managers (CMBAM) Conference in Denver. 
With 56 schools in attendance, of which 33 competed for awards, PSU faced competition from some of the top media programs in the country and won third-place awards in the following categories:

Campus Public Safety to hold open house Feb. 24

PSU’s Campus Public Safety Office (CPSO) is moving from the basement of Shattuck Hall to Koinonia House on the corner of Broadway and SW Montgomery. It will hold an open house at the new location Wednesday, Feb. 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The open house will feature free hot dogs and tours of the new facility.
