Leif Halverson is a licensed architect with near twenty years of experience practicing architecture, including over a decade working for Gehry Partners in Los Angeles, where he was a Project Architect for many large scale, cultural projects and where he also had deep, sustained involvement in two major international projects - AGO Transformation in Toronto, Canada (2008) and the Luma Foundation Building, still under construction in Arles, France (est. 2019).  Throughout his professional career, Leif has focused on designing architecture that is extraordinary, endeavoring to deliver forms and spaces that are functional and exceptional, quietly practical and vociferously experiential. He has learned that executing on such a focus requires close collaboration with talented team members and the understanding that the design process is a continuous effort from concept design through construction administration.

Leif has taught at the University level at NJIT, Parsons School of Design, and Portland State University and has served as an invited design critic at a number of universities, from Columbia and Pratt in NYC to Otis in Los Angeles to Portland State University in Portland, OR.
