Chuck it for Charity happening June 4 through June 16

Students, moving at the end of spring term? If you have unwanted items such as furniture, appliances, non-perishable food, clothing, and more be sure to keep your eyes out for Chuck it for Charity, happening this year from June 4-16 in campus residential halls.

Chuck it for Charity is an annual reuse event and program at PSU organized in partnership by Housing and Residential Life and the Campus Sustainability Office. To participate, simply bring your donations to a drop-off site in the lobby of these buildings: Blumel, Broadway, Epler, Montgomery, and Ondine.

In addition to offering a convenient way for students to donate reusable items, Chuck it for Charity is able to capture a huge amount of material (11 tons last year) for local charities, reuse on campus, the Portland State Student Food Pantry, and other programs.
