Sergio Palleroni, Professor of Architecture, Receives Nomination for Tang Prize

Professor of Architecture Sergio Palleroni has been honored with a nomination for the inaugural International Invitational Tang Prize Medal Design Competition this year. 

One of 61 nominated international designers representing "the best of our time," Palleroni was nominated for his work in the field of sustainable and public interest design. The final awards will be announced in June. 

Created by Samuel Lin, a Taiwanese businessman, the Tang Prize has been dubbed the "Asian Nobel Prize," offering substantial monetary awards and honors for significant work in the fields of sustainable development, biopharmaceutical science, sinology, and rule of law, according to a BBC report on the brand-new award.
