J. R. “Jones” Estes, University Studies faculty and director of First-year Experience, co-authored “Reflective Perspectives: Student Autoethnography on Portland State’s University Studies Program,” published in a special volume of the Journal of General Education: A Curricular Commons of the Humanities and Sciences celebrating PSU University Studies’ 25th Anniversary. Estes co-authored the article with PSU students, Amanda Guthu (UNST Peer Mentor), Dominic Flesey-Assad, Emily Price, Faith Hocutt Ringwelski, Gabriela Whitlow, Kara Jinks (UNST Peer Mentor), and Veronika Legat.
